No decision CAP disapproved of the demolition of a perfectly well built and proportioned 1960’s building, and disliked the proposed materials. They felt the desired access improvements could readily be made by creating a new interior stair.

Withdrawn CAP The application did not contain an audit of existing fabric or an access audit. The proposed lift adversely affected the ground floor, and partitions at the first floor would subdivide useful space. No details were provided of the proposed bi-fold doors at the entrance to the main library. The scheme was ill conceived and CAP strongly objected.

Part demolition of existing buildings and erection of a single building providing 64 student studios and 3 student cluster flats with retention of existing fa็ade. No decision CAP was aghast at this appalling scheme. The demolition of a listed building was contrary to PPG15 and it was entirely unacceptable to demolish the existing villa. The panel strongly objected to the entire scheme.
