Land off Prince’s Lane
The Planning Group and the Chairman met the Property Development Manager of Chest Properties, together with their architect, to hear their plans to produce ‘a building of excellence’ on the site of the secret garden, an exemplar ‘secret’ 21st house. Concern is felt that the site should be kept as green space with its sensitive views from the Suspension Bridge and over the Gorge.CAP’s thoughts on 4, St Paul's Rd (see last month’s report)
Over intensive (student flats in rear garden), lack of amenity space, underprovision of cycle storage, no room for bins, lack of detail for front garden, weak link to old building and loss of rear garden with trees.Useful websites
