Urban Peregrines: a Talk by Ed Drewitt

Nov 20, 2018

Urban foxes are well known to us all but how many of us are aware that over the past 25 years peregrines have spread into our towns and cities?

Naturalist Ed Drewitt has , for the last 20 years, been studying these birds here in the west country and in this talk will be revealing their movements, diets and urban habits including some most surprising behaviour.

This promises to be an unusual and informative talk and definitely not one to be missed.

The venue will, as usual, be the Apostle Room at Clifton Cathedral, Pembroke Road which has ample parking and is close to a no.8 bus stop. The talk will commence at 8pm, with doors open at 7.30 to allow time for the purchase of wine or coffee and a chat with other members. Non-members are welcome.

Next: The Traditional festivals of Britain.
Previous: Annual General Meeting followed by Gordon Young's wonderful films.
