The Traditional festivals of Britain.

Jan 22, 2019

This talk by one of our favourite speakers, Professor Ron Hutton, is set to open our events calendar for 2019 on a high note.

Professor Hutton will, in his own inimitable way, take us round the yearly cycle looking at the main festivals of the traditional British year and the customs associated with them, from the dawn of history to recent centuries. He will explore with us what is timeless and what has changed.

As usual, the event will take place at The Apostle Room, Pembroke Road, commencing at 8pm, with doors open at 7.30pm. The usual beverages will be available.

Be sure to arrive early as Professor Hutton's talks are always extremely popular.
