Annual General Meeting followed by Talk.

Oct 29, 2019

Our AGM will be held on Tuesday, 29th October at the Apostle Room, Clifton Cathedral, Pembroke Rd., starting at 8pm, with doors open at 7.30pm.

The formal business section of the meeting will start at 8pm, followed by a Talk by Professor Chris Stephens on 'Robert Edwin Bush & his First World War Hospital'. This is a little known story of a Bristolian who was educated at Clifton College, played cricket in the same team as W.G. Grace, made his fortune in Australia and gave his house at Bishop's Knoll to be a hospital. Chris Stephens will tell us more about this fascinating man.
