Royal Fort Gardens : a delight not to be missed

Jun 25, 2017

The Annual Meadow is the work of Bristol University Students and Grounds Staff. CHIS gave its rare Award for Excellence to the new Royal Fort Gardens and Life Sciences Building, adjacent to the historic Humphrey Repton garden at the other side of the classical Royal Fort. Two years on is a dazzling pair of beds of colourful and shapely widow flowers, eleven species in all. It's a lovely scene and not to be missed, especially if you enjoyed our recent Green Squares and Secret Gardens weekend or have seen the magnificent meadow at Highgrove. Be quick, though; the flowers won't last for ever.
