Mar 19, 2024

NOTE: Location for this talk is the James Room in Cathedral House, not the usual Apostle Room.

A talk by Shaun Macloughlin entitled Pilgrimage. Shaun, a retired Radio Drama Producer, will tell us of some significant and some humorous episodes of his life. When he retired from the BBC with the help of Filipino friends, he developed the teaching of English through Drama in the Far East. He says his ambition is now with the help from Aid to the Church in Need, to help children and families in Gaza as the bombed School of the Rosary is rebuilt: we should use drama more to acquire life skills, have fun and help traumatized children.

If you arrive at 7.30 you can enjoy wine and informal chat with other members. The talk starts at 8pm. Visitors are welcome and can attend for £1. Please pass on these details about the talk to any members not used to the Internet. Thank you.

The James Room is in the basement of Cathedral House, which is at the back of Clifton Cathedral on Clifton Park, opposite Cobblestone Mews. You may park in the car park of Cathedral House or in the main Clifton Cathedral car park.
